About Tai Chi and Qigong

What is Tai Chi?

Tai chi is a form of qigong (energy cultivation). Based in martial arts movements, tai chi provides training in proper body mechanics and natural alignment.
It fosters a relaxed body and a peaceful state of mind, which are essential ingredients for cultivating healthy energy or qi.

What is Qigong?

Qi Gong, also spelled Chi Kung, is a Chinese method of energy cultivation to heal mind and body.. Qi means energy and Gong means skill. Together, Qi Gong is the skill of attracting vital energy.

Qi Gong is also the act of moving the Qi energy throughout the body in order to restore balance. More information here.
